The Moment I Understood What a Wedding Film Really Is

I grew up watching my parents’ wedding on an old VHS tape.

It wasn’t cinematic. It wasn’t edited to music. It was simple and complete — the ceremony, the long speeches, the way everyone looked and sounded in that exact moment in 1987.

I saw loved ones so young.
