I still remember watching my parents’ wedding on an old VHS tape.

I saw loved ones so young — some who are no longer here.
I saw my parents before they were “Mom and Dad,” just two people in love.
My uncles with their pompadours and mullets.
My aunt deep in her Madonna phase.
The DJ playing “Lookout Weekend” while my uncles attempted to breakdance.
And somehow, that made it priceless.
That tape showed me something important:
Time changes everything.

That’s what inspired me to become a wedding videographer.
Years after my own wedding, my wife and I sat down and watched our film again.
